I am proud to be...

  • Endorsed by the Aurora Education Association-West
The AEA-W is a professional organization of over 850 educators in West Aurora School District 129. AEA-W endorsed me because of my knowledge of education, teacher advocacy, and commitment to the community.
  • A Graduate of Illinois Public Schools
I wouldn't be where I am today without the Illinois public school system. I did not attend schools in West Aurora, but I look forward to bringing a background of different experiences to the table, including schooling in Texas and Wisconsin.
  • Undistracted by National Party Politics
I truly am focused on local needs. I believe that the ongoings in my ward, township, city, county, and state districts have the most important impacts on my family and my community. If I am elected, I will be proud to represent all residents of the district, regardless of their age, marital or parental status, or political background.

I am recommended by the Aurora Township Democrats. I did not receive a questionnaire from any other political committee.
  • An Engaged Community Member
I regularly attend county, city, and neighborhood meetings. I also organized the West Park Neighbors National Night Out event this past summer. My wife and I own a home just blocks away from West Aurora High School. My neighbors know me as someone who helps out at any opportunity.

I launched Aurora.vote, a central directory of elected office interactive maps and a candidate directory, to help encourage voter participation across the Aurora-area.
  • The Husband to a West Aurora SD129 Teacher
Catch me helping my amazing wife run the McCleery Elementary choir concerts! Because of her, I will continue to make a positive impact in the school district regardless of whether or not I make it on to the School Board.
  • A Coach for Boys Baseball of Aurora
Coaching baseball has been a great way to positively influence the youth of the Aurora area. I look forward to coaching in BBA for many years to come!
  • A Supporter of Local Businesses and Non-Profits
Small businesses are the backbone of our economy and I do my best to make sure that stays true. A portion of every one of my paychecks goes to the Fox Valley United Way.
  • A Successful IT Professional
I have a bachelors degree in Software Engineering and currently serve as the youngest Software Architect at my place of employment. I look forward to using skills like problem-solving, analytical thinking, and small group leadership while serving on the West Aurora SD129 School Board.
